Product Manager- Kids Games and Subscriptions
At Red Games Co. the Product Manager will work in close partnership with our studio’s creative leadership and technical leadership to develop and execute product strategies and roadmaps driving toward maximum performance in areas of a game including subscriptions. The Product Manager must use data and analysis to help drive all key decisions to optimize the experience and business goals. The “magic recipe” is to achieve business objectives while prioritizing a player-first approach and maintaining alignment with Red Games Co. core values and mission. The Product Manager Will help us create magical, creativity-first experiences for mobile/table coloring apps for multiple audience groups and focuses on working closely with our product leadership team to increase player engagement, key retention metrics , and help drive revenue targets.
Core Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Vision
- Partner with product leadership to shape and execute a clear, inspiring vision for our coloring experiences.
- Champion features that spark creativity, self-expression, and joy for all players.
- Align product decisions with key subscription goals like activation, engagement, retention, and lifetime value without compromising fun.
First-Time Experience & Growth
- Help craft delightful first-time user experiences (FTUE) that immediately players into our world.
- Design onboarding flows that feel intuitive, playful, and rewarding, turning curious users into happy subscribers.
- Collaborate with marketing and user acquisition teams to ensure our product shines in campaigns and delivers on its promise.
Engagement, Creativity & Live Ops
- Contribute to evolving core gameplay loops centered around coloring, creativity, and discovery.
- Brainstorm and plan fresh content drop, new coloring pages, themes, tools, and surprises that keep players coming back.
- Support live ops strategies that build daily creative habits and long-term engagement.
Monetization with Care
- Explore and test subscription models, pricing, and bundles that feel parent-friendly and accessible to all players.
- Balance business goals with a thoughtful, kid-safe experience that parents trust.
- Partner with data and finance teams to optimize revenue while minimizing churn.
Player Insights & Feedback
- Advocate for our all players by gathering insights from gameplay data, parent feedback, and user testing.
- Help validate ideas through A/B testing, usability studies, and analytics.
- Continuously refine the experience to better support creativity, learning, and fun.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with a small, passionate team across design, art, engineering, analytics, marketing, and support.
- Be a strong voice for the player experience.
- Help bring ideas to life from concept to launch in a collaborative, fast-moving environment.
Data-Driven Creativity
- Track and improve key metrics like engagement, retention, and subscription performance.
- Use dashboards and insights to guide decisions while staying grounded in what makes the experience joyful.
- Embrace iteration, testing, learning, and improving continuously.
Requirements
- 4–7+ years of product management experience, with at least 2+ years in mobile games or consumer subscription products.
- Proven track record of owning features or products that improved key metrics such as retention, engagement, or monetization.
- Strong understanding of free-to-play and subscription models, including onboarding funnels, live ops, and lifecycle management.
- Experience working cross-functionally with design, engineering, data, and marketing teams in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Comfort using data to drive decisions, including experience with A/B testing, analytics tools, and KPI tracking.
- Passion for building safe, engaging experiences for kids and families, with an appreciation for creativity-driven gameplay (art, coloring, or similar).
