Senior Games Analyst – Subscription Mobile
Red Games Co. is looking for a seasoned leader in data analytics with a passion for mobile games to work alongside our product and marketing teams. This person will have the unique opportunity to impact our titles through data driven insights and see their ideas come to life. The role needs someone who can interact with all areas of data analytics by gathering raw data, processing that data into manageable tables, finding hidden trends through modeling and creating dashboards, and ultimately articulating those findings clearly to all parts of the team.
We are not looking for someone to grow into the role, we are looking for someone who has already led subscription analytics initiatives and can immediately elevate our approach. This individual will own the full analytical lifecycle: sourcing and structuring raw data, building advanced models, uncovering actionable behavioral insights, and clearly communicating strategic recommendations to cross-functional leadership.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the subject matter expert on subscription analytics, including acquisition, conversion, retention, churn, LTV, pricing, and offer strategy.
- Partner with Product and Marketing leadership to monitor player behavior, subscription health, and overall game performance.
- Define, evolve, and standardize KPIs specific to subscription based mobile business models.
- Build and deploy advanced data models using Python or R to forecast subscriber growth, churn risk, and revenue performance.
- Design, implement, and analyze A/B tests focused on subscription conversion, pricing, paywalls, win-back campaigns, and retention strategies.
- Translate complex game and marketing data into clear, actionable insights that directly inform roadmap and investment decisions.
- Develop and maintain scalable dashboards and reporting frameworks for stakeholders at all levels.
- Identify revenue optimization opportunities and proactively recommend high-impact product and monetization initiatives.
- Ensure best practices in experimentation, analytics instrumentation, and subscription performance measurement.
- 5+ years of analytics experience, with substantial hands-on experience in subscription-based mobile games (required).
- Demonstrated ownership of subscription KPIs, lifecycle analytics, churn modeling, LTV forecasting, and monetization optimization.
- Deep expertise in SQL required.
- Advanced proficiency in Python or R for modeling and data analysis.
- Experience with BI and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau or similar).
- Strong understanding of mobile attribution ecosystems (MMP data models, platform limitations, privacy impacts, mitigation strategies).
- Proven ability to influence product and marketing strategy through data-driven insights.
- Comfortable operating autonomously in a fast-paced studio environment.
- Ability to communicate complex technical findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Passion for games and player experience.

- Understand product goals and identify KPIs that will help track success and identify risks.
- Translate game data into actionable insights and recommendations for the app.
- Help inform marketing, user acquisition and product strategies.
- Set up and maintain user analytics tools, dashboards, etc.
- Help create controlled experiments, A/B testing, etc. with clear goals and success metrics to test new product feature.
- Continually identify areas for improving game KPI’s and recommend new product features.
